The plant carries out modernization of production, outfitting with new up-to-date equipment designed for highly-skilled, well-trained workers. The plant trains its personnel. PJSC RUMO has the license for training workers by 12 professions. Specialists of the plant give classes in the plant training centre.

One of the main directions of works management and trade union committee joint activity is safety arrangements and precautions, upturn of job conditions. Within recent years none cases of occupational diseases have been placed on record. Lot of capital is spent for buildings and facilities renovation. Designers and production engineers work on up-to-date effective workstations and apply domestic design systems.

In accordance with the Collective Agreement works management accommodates in dormitories for young specialists and workers and their families.

Annually plant workers participate in the plant Olympics by 7 events. PJSC RUMO's gorodki players are considered to be the top-rank in the Russian Federation. Plant and international tournaments are hold in PJSC RUMO's sports complex. Annually, in August, the plant arranges competitions for the top-rank European gorodki players at its sports grounds. Works management pays special attention to this event and hold European Cup stage on its territory.
