Diesel Generator Sets with Engines of 32/40 Series![]() Diesel generator sets are used as sources of electrical power for industrial enterprises, settlements in regions remote (switched off) from centralized power systems and as standby power sources at enterprises with continuous production processes, and also as main and auxiliary marine diesel-generators on sea and river craft ships. Diesel generator sets could operate autonomously and also in parallel with other similar sets and mains. Diesel generator sets are installed at stationary diesel electric power plants in enclosed heated and ventilated rooms directly on concrete foundations or on intermediate under-frame. Diesel generator sets could be installed on shock-absorbers on ships. Diesel generator sets operate on diesel, motor and heavy fuel with viscosity of up to 700 cSt at a temperature of 50 °C. Diesel generator sets could be completed with automatic remote control system permitting to maintain engines in "hot standby" and to start engine, load electric sets, enter them in parallel operation with other sets, control rotation speed and loading value in automatic mode. Diesel generator sets reliably operate under conditions of continental, arctic and tropical climate and in high mountains. General arrangement of sets provides easy access to units and component parts demanding periodical visual inspection and maintenance as well as maintainability. Diesel generator sets are delivered in complete set with tools and devices necessary for quick and qualified disassembling and assembling units as well as for their repair. High efficiency of sets in fuel and oil, moderate cost of maintenance and repair provide minimum cost of power output unit.
