Marine Diesel Engines of 32/40 Series
Engines are designed for:
operation in the composition of the diesel-geared set as the main marine diesel and also as main and auxiliary diesel-generators on sea-going, river and fishing vessels in accordance with requirements of Codes of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
High economical efficiency of engines is achieved by:
- constant pressure turbo-supercharging;
- optimized system of fuel injection;
- high compression ratio and maximum combustion pressure;
- use of two camshafts for separate setting valve timing and the moment of fuel delivery.
High ecological characteristics are achieved by regulated start of fuel injection and optimization of ignition point by turning the camshaft, which permits:
- to adapt the engine for running on different fuel grades in order to provide its minimum consumption;
- to reduce NOx content by delaying fuel injection;
- to improve the engine operation on fractional loads.
The engine can efficiently run on heavy fuel grades with viscosity of up to 700 cSt at a temperature of 50 °C.
The engine reliable performance is provided by its design, materials used for main components manufacture and production technique.
The engine could be delivered with a turbo-charger mounted on front or rear end of the engine at the Customer's request.
