On May 14, 2008 in countryside hotel "Chayka" a Conference of RUMO representatives took place. It was the first time that such an event was held!
The objective of the Conference was to inform business partners on new developments and perspectives, to coordinate between the Company and its representatives and to discuss the cooperation plans for the year 2008. The meeting was attended by the representatives from Moscow, Minsk, Kiev, Baku, Ulan-Ude, Rostov-on-Don, Cheboksary and Tomsk.
The official part was opened by Yury Chadaev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The main specialists of the Company made their reports in the Conference.
Vasiliy Makarov, the head of gas engine compressor building school in Russia (Director, Development and Design of Compressors and Power Equipment, RUMO) talked on produced gas engine compressors, reciprocating compressors and high pressure pumps, having emphasized
the upgrading of the products, which were already in operation, and on the plans for future. Thus, nowadays new compressor PK12, designed on the base of compressor PK32, already developed and delivered to the customer, started to be assembled in the plant shops.
Alexander Limonov, Director, Engines and Gensets Design and Development, presented the whole line of produced engines, both for stationary and ship power plants. The stress in his report was made on innovations in engine design, and the new designs of 22/28 and 32/40 line engines, operating on diesel and gas fuel, were presented.
Alexey Belov, Chief of Boiler Equipment Design Department, presented a range of boiler units with unique characteristics, on the base of which the Company makes the boiler rooms in various versions - roof, modular, in-built, attached, in separate buildings.
Vadim Khramov, Chief Process Engineer of the Company, talked on the readiness of technological complex of RUMO for producing serial products and on the perspectives of technical upgrading for the enhancement of new products manufacture efficiency. The purchasing of most advanced machines is planned.
Alevtina Bakaeva, Foreign Trade Department Head, reported on the on-going projects, carried out by RUMO abroad, on production and technical cooperation with foreign partners, on the development of exported components supply net.
Vladimir Petrov, Chief of Service Department, focused his speech on how the maintenance department was started and how it works today. Using a concrete example, he told about a positive experience of collaboration between RUMO, representation in Siberian Federal District LLC "Fort-S" and the Administration of Tomsk District.
Natalia Eliseyeva, Vice-President of JSC State Bank "Nizhny Novgorod" - partner bank of RUMO, talked on bank packages and services, the opportunities of the bank cooperation with the partners of RUMO and the financial instruments, allowing effective cooperation.
"Round tables" were organized for discussion according to the Company activities.
During the unofficial part the representatives were solemnly awarded with commemorative certificates and presents. The final of the event was marked with a colorful show of flying balloons with the representatives' names and festive fireworks.
